Frequently asked questions
How will I know the condition of the garment I want to purchase?
All garments that can be washed, have been. Those that cannot have been thoroughly steamed. Since most vintage garments have been previously worn or used there will inevitably be some wear on all pieces. We will always do our best to note the general condition and point out any noticeable flaws. Sometimes photos do not relay the detail of flaws, so please read the description as well. Contact us with any additional questions and/or concerns you may have prior to purchasing. Please keep in mind color may look different in photos depending on the calibration of your monitor.
When can I expect to receive my purchase?
All items are carefully packaged and shipped through the United States Postal Service with tracking information. Items are shipped between 1-3 business days of purchase. Domestic shipments are sent Priority Mail and take 2-4 business days. International shipments are sent First Class and take around 5-20 business days (and in rare cases can sometimes take up to a month).
If you'd like a speedier delivery please let us know beforehand and we can make arrangements. Domestic shipping is always free for the above timeframe, if you need faster or rush shipping please contact us prior to payment and we will calculate additional shipping costs.
Do you accept returns?
All items are eligible for STORE CREDIT with the exception of those items listed as FINAL SALE. Contact us within 7 DAYS of receiving item to qualify for return. Please thoroughly read shop policies and listing descriptions before purchase. STORE CREDIT will be given for the amount of the item excluding shipping costs. Item must be returned in the condition it was sent within 30 DAYS from the delivery date.
Item must be returned unworn, unwashed, and unaltered. Credit will be given to the customer in the form of an emailed gift card and must be used within 60 days by the original purchaser. In the event that you believe a item was falsely described in the listing you will be granted a refund in the original form of payment.

What are final sale items?
All items purchased on sale or during a promotional sale. These items are final and cannot be returned for store credit, exchange, or refunds.
What happens if my package is lost or stolen?
Dead Byrd Vintage is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, if you would like to purchase insurance please let us know so we can send you an invoice for the additional fee.
Will shipping costs cover customs/additional fees?
By placing an order with Dead Byrd Vintage you assume responsibility for all applicable customs and import fees as well as any fees associated with deliveries refused or uncollected by you at time of delivery.
